shouldn't be a problem. once i get the tcm figured out on how i want it to shift. it's game on!

it should do 13.3-13.4 on motor alone if i can stall it to 28-3000 rpms and hammer down out of the hole {if the tranny holds it}

Ive been dicking with HP tuners on mine once every few days.

This new E40 style PCM and TCM suck for adjustability. Actual LS1 based cars/trucks with the "all in one" PCM have a ton more adjustability to the tranny functions.

There is no way to do anything with shift times... which seems to be mine's issue... Mine kinda firmly slides into 2nd on the 1-2... might just have to go with a shift kit to get a more positive feel out of it.... There are GTP guys around that gets barks from the 1-2 shift with a shift kit... granted thats border line abusive, but would prolong the clutch pack life for 1-2. These trannys have all the "hard parts" in them, just trying to make them "clamp" through the computer seems to be the hassle. Time to do it by hydraulics then with a shift kit i guess.

you can do it with trq mangament, and line pressure. i have broken the tires loose on the 2-3 shift on the bottle. what i can't figure out if trying to get the 1-2 shift faster. it seems really lasy as it is. me personally, i think a slight increase in line pressure at wot, and add trq mgnmt higher then the rest of the shifts would speed this up tremendously. im slowly learning the in's and outs of this freakin car via experimentation. why given money to someone who doesn't have first hand experience with what works and what doesn't?!?!

dunno, thats just me

Yeah my 2-3 hits plenty hard... just seems to drive through the 1-2 yet... only way to make it clamp harder is with physically more fluid....

I have the TM set to take out 20% on the 1-2, gives a momentary pause then hits the 1-2 OK, but not as precise as 2-3.

Ive got the force motor table pegged for the higher line PSI's and under the shift pressure tables, all are at 96 from anything above 50% throttle. Its esentially giving it everything it has, which still isnt enough! I guessi could try more TM... but it just feels like its undecided about shifting then.

But then again your making a motor drop 1700 RPM's on the 1-2 thats making 330 ft lbs of torque at that point... kinda hard to make it drop hard and fast to allow a firm shift w/o other measures like a shift kit. Only other way is a higher stall converter thats loose that only allows a drop of 500-1000 rpms at the shift... but these converters are nice stock, and then driveability will start to suck witha 4,000 stall converter with like a 2.2 STR haha

i have someone working on a new tcm for me on getting the tranny side fingered out, but he won't tell me how he does it. i can only guess. i think my guessing is pretty damn close actually.

hell try more trq mngmnt, it might actually work. then again, a shift kit from zzp is like 30 bucks. that also leads to hard shifts all the time. which is what im trying to avoid. dunno, trying to find someone who is willing to experiment with their car is kinda hard to find now a days
