Need Traction

I went to the track last night with my 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP I have a K&N cold air intake and Magnaflow exhaust. I ran 14.91 95.78 MPH. My 60 feet were horrible, I used traction control and tried to peddle and the tires were letting loose the hole time. Any suggestion on a good tire to purchase that would make this car hook good?

You have 19's on the front's right? My 2006 SS has 18's and i got a 2.2 and a 2.1 60. Practice makes perfect. Just find a nice stretch of the road (preferebly Isolated) And practice. Leave trac off though. and ease into it. Try with the tires at 22psi. Just suggestions.

I had my tires down to 18psi didnt help my 60 was 2.5-2.7 the rims are 18 on the gxp.

you can get good times on the factory tires but it's hard to do every run esp.in cooler weather.I got khumo's for $119 a piece and love them I can now stall the TC to 2500 rpm and launch near full throttle and have it to the floor by 10mph.

Which kuhmos did you get and where? I'm almost near the point of needing new tires and i was looking into cheap replacements. If you went to tire rack did you get the all seasons (ASX?) or the summers?
