Default Ring and pinion

Does anyone know if there are aftermarket ring and pinions available for our cars? I want to change from the stock 3.29 to a 3.73...or even 4.10. Is there a company that specializes in ring and pinions for front wheel drive cars? I really think these changes would make are cars run ALOT better.

I know it would make it harder to launch, but i know the car will pull through the gears alot harder and really help the overall performace of the car.

Wonder how much of a pain this would be to install or how much of a difference it would actually make.

gear installs are not something you want to attempt unless you have someone with you who has done it a time or two. The measurements/set-up are critical. I would go ahead and write the check, so whatever the cost is, that is your pain.

Roughly 12% mechanical advantage at the wheels for the 3.29~>3.69 (yes, that includes the chain-drive reduction.)

I think it would make it tough to get a good launch. Last gear set I swapped (3.08~>3.73, 21% increase) on a rear driver with a similar stall as the LS4 cars, made 1st gear completely useless. WOT anywhere in first sends the tires up in smoke. Entertaining sometimes, sure, but a real hassle to drive in the rain/snow/fog, ended up slower than stock in less than perfect conditions (don't get me started on how it slides sideways on slight hills in the wet, so many angry people behind me because it is brutally hard to get up to speed from a stop at anything approaching normal acceleration.) I fear any increase in low end power in the little front drivers will be similar. Now...if you want to move the power upstairs with a cam swap, then gears would make more sense to me.
