yeah, on our cars (Monte/Impala), the date is only on the radio...

Yah, I need to get a date for this weekend ...
Who needs the date on a DIC??? What would you use that for? Now that's a feature. Guess I never knew it was there.
I have my DIC showing instantaneous gas milage, and the radio showing the artist.

The reason I ask is because I took the factory 6 disc out and put a factory Navigation unit in and had it unlocked. With the other radio The date and time worked Does anybody know if the time and date are run threw GPS because I do Not have the GPS antenna hooked up. Dealer should have it in tomorrow.
