Question for those of you with GXP's.
Thanks!
Better stereo system
Way better brakes
Way better suspension
Way better factory rims (5 spoke)
Way better seats
It's also got HUD
And when I bought my GXP I got it for just less than $1000.00 from what I paid on my Impala
Scarlett, rather than bothering what has been said many times before perhaps you should provide pros and cons of each. Just search around there are many posts about the differences. It all comes down to personal preferences. In fact to play devils advocate let me pull from a GXP driver that noticed some of the niceties of an Impala:
-outside rear view mirrors are tiny
-car has dual piston front calipers
-driver's bucket seat has a neat little pocket stitched into the front of it
-gauges show pressure per tire
-gauges show 8cyl mode and 4 cyl mode from DOD
-car has adjustable turn signal blinker volume
-radio has ipod jack
-rear seat bottom cleverly folds forward
-rear seat has third headrest built in at the middle
Impala SS has some nice features that our GXPs could use, but then again, we have some pretty neat toys that the Impala doesn't...

Plus everyone knows what Impala SS means. . . .only younger generations know what GXP is
I took off all of the badging on my car, one day I was waiting for my wife to come out of the theater and she heard a couple kids say "Dude that's a GXP no it isn't, that's just a GT" I always get asked what my car is when people pull up to the lights and hear it. And the most typical thing is that's got a v8 who cares its front wheel drive.
[/QUOTE]That's what makes the looks on peoples faces even more entertaining after a little run! I chose the GXP because I have had three GPs in the past prior to the GXP. I love the looks on the GPs and the interior is all driver friendly. I know that alot of people see the looks of the GPs as to over the top and think the interior is to "spaceship" like. But I considered the looks of the Impala both inside and out to be to plain for my taste. And the MC SS, well I don't have a mullet or watch Nascar.

Hold onto the car for another year until the G8s start hitting the market, there is definately a ton more potential there. Or if you really want hold off for another year until they switch from the LS2 powerplant to the LS3 powerplant they are introducing in 2008 to the Vette.
