$30 for 2 emblems is high....

I got my SS emblem from my dealer for $10 or $12.... that was for the big one that's on the door - the one you want for the front.

the smaller trunk one is $7...

Did you sand down the entire area in the shape of the bowtie where the bowtie had been? Mine ended up getting scraped as you described and its fairly noticeable in the areas not covered by the SS, atleast to me anyways. I have an extra SS badge laying around and have been contemplating removing the one on there now and tryin to fix up where the plastic got scraped.
