Transmission Rebuilt
1. Enable the Diff. Surge protection every time the gas pedal is touched.
2. Grenade the input shaft.
3. Make mince meat of the spiders and primaries.
4. Sheer the thrust washers.
5. Leave little pieces from the exploded tranny case all over the place.
But sure dude, get your tranny built. My friend has a single turbo MCSS @10 PSI on a forged 3800 and he has rebuilt his tranny 4 times with a Quaife Posi unit each time, that alone costing $2,000. He only makes ~440 HP, ~420 TQ.
Oh and here you go:
Anyways, 3 days and the trans was fubar. Had the trans rebuilt by a local GTP guy using all Intense stuff and a Qauife(sp) posi.
Motor was toast in a month, car is gone, and he has a another brand new GXP that will only see bolt ons.
Turbo setup was top notch and badass. Its the car owners "zero" automotive knowledge that killed this car, not the shop that put it together.
