Holy S***. I know these things are heavy, but man are they fast . Seven speed auto with 382 HP 4360 lbs. I could not hang on the straights with this guy, but he was more than surprised in the corners . He had quite a bit of body roll, and I caught him every corner. I did get compliments on the sound of my Magnaflows, though. I need more ponies!!! What's my next step? K&N, 3" down, no res. and Magnaflows.

Late night in Pittsburgh called West Liberty, nice straights and lots of corners. Still man, at 4300 lbs. that thing could move!!!

I dunno...I think it's possible. I once raced an SRT8 around a corner (left turn signal...out of a dig)...I came out on top through the corner and the SRT8 couldn't catch me after he entered the straight. I talked to the guy at the light and he was amazed that I beat him. He thought I had a supercharged 6....lol no.

I though the SL550 had better handling and sup package then most cars?

I dont know much about those cars, but he did say CL, not SL. And even with the best suspension, it's a 600lb difference and he does have suspension done...

Quick search shows that the CL550 runs a 13.9 in the 1/4 mile. http://www.edmunds.com/apps/vdpconta...5/pageNumber=1

It's not the best link in the world, but I'm at work. That should give us a good idea of what it's capable of anyways.
