Glad you got'em. You'll definitely notice the difference when they're in there.

I installed the front bar today. Had to make a modification to the bracket as there was a stud in the way on the passenger side. I also had to bend over that stud and another stud on the driver's side. I notice alittle better off center feel. I'll put in the rear ones after I get my car fixed again, Squaely right rear suspension.. I'm also having an issue with the OnStar phone, it wont accept voice commands to store or delete name tags.

Just got my brackets and am installing on an 06 Monte SS as well. I noticed that I will need to notch it too as the stud that the wires hook to is in the way. Any hood issues for you?

no I did have an issure with transmission dipstick though. it was rattling against the bar so loud it wore though the paint. I heard it inside the car it was so loud...

I noticed more from the car with ther rear bar. that I can say was worth it.

Would anyone advise against getting just the front bar? The main reason I would get it is to get rid of the little squeaks and stuff from everyday driving. The cornering/performance aspect of it isn't as important to me.

From a handling aspect the rear one makes the most difference. But to answer your question, no. You'll be fine with just the front one. You just won't notice as much of a difference. I actually only have my front one in right now because I can't fit my sub box all the way back against my rear seat with the bar in, and I need my trunk space so I can't have the sub box in the middle of the trunk.

Yeah, you'll be fine. On some 04-05 Impalas, they only came with the front one from the factory.

Same place. Bolts to the inner-two strut tower bolts. You might need to cut (notch) the carpet to get it to sit flush with the side panels afterwards, though.
