Tirerack has the BFG KDWS on sale for $79.00 per tire right now. The size is 235/50/18.

Thanks. Has anyone tried these KDWS (A/S) compared to the KDW? The F1 A/S look really sweet, but would you get double the performance & value vs. double the cost over the KDWS. I'd never replace the tires with the same RSA regardless how GY says they are. They do wear well though with sane driving.

me either... but yes, they wear well... even with the occasional hard launches, little burn outs, etc etc.. I've got 40,350 miles on my originals... and still have good enough tread left to make it through the winter... they're gonna have to, don't have money to buy new tires till I get this friggin' condo sold!!! LOL

mini-hijack: anyone know anyone looking to buy a condo, let me know... I have a mint one for sale... it's vacant, ready to move right in! PM me if interested in more info/pics...

Yes, I have owned a set of BFG KDWS for our old 03 Grand am GT. The difference between the RSA and KDWS is huge. The KDWS reduced the amount of wheel spin and increased the cornering capabilites of the GA GT in a big way. Remember the KDWS was rolling stock on the GTO. It may not perform as well as the F1 or the KDW but the sacrafice in performance is made up in the price. Also the "S" means snow capable for all of us northern drivers. Think about it for $79 per tire you could get a set of 4 KDWS and a CAI for less than the price of 4 Goodyear F1 allseason tires.
