Default GXP downpipe

I just had a downpipe installed on my GXP (wbs weld in). Now under acceleration i get a whistling type noise...are you guys getting the same?

i was told it is because it is a single wall instead of a double wall......exhaust wrap should help....can anyone verify that?

That is my understanding...... the "double layer flex" supposedly fixes the whistle sound, however, I was talking to someone with at GTP(superchaged 6) who said he has the double wall flex and still gets some whistle.

FWIW, my DP is from Hogan, double layer, and does not whistle.

On my GTP i noticed the same thing so i wrapped it and it made it a little better, didnt really bother me but im sure if you wrap it good it wont make any noise.

i just deleted the other one......i had it posted in the general LSx questions area......a mod must have moved it.
