My attempt... Realize this is an old thread...but wanted to show you what I tried with my engine cover. Wanted to create a fake carbon fiber look. Saw this done on youtube, and I thought I'd try it...

Guys, I found my extra cover on Ebay for $30 bucks...
try Craigslist, salvage yards, or post up on different forums! Good Luck!

DX 08 GXP -- that looks AWESOME! But I bet that either took a long time, or was very expensive to do...or have done! Mine cost less than $50.00, and took about 3 hours!

he acutally had his arm broke when an engine they were lifting broke loose so yeah he was outta commision for a bit....i guess i was one of the few who wasnt bitching at him for taking longer then usual so i guess having patience does pay off
