i have a problem with my steering but i dont think its the ISS because everyone else says theres clunks when it ***** the bed. It only happens when i am slowing down and turning at the same time. I get a vibration it almost feels like my wheel is loose or something. Anyone have any ideas?

 

check your wheel bearings

 

wheel bearings... just had mine replaced cuz of that same feeling... along with the whole steering rack...

 

thanks guys. Just got off the phone with the dealer, guess ill be dropping it off the beginning of the week. At least they give me a rental car prob another G6

 

I've had all 4 wheel bearings replaced and both rear replaced twice now. the first time you could hear the bearings when in a parking garage sounded like brakes rubbing. The 2nd time they cause a noise/vibration while i was driving. Kinda sounded like a bad tire at highspeeds

 

How many miles do you have?

 

just hit 17,000 and ive only had the car for 2k and ive already had to get a new tranny im kinda dissapointed with the quality. Never had any problems with my 02 GTP.

 

I'm just getting to 3,000 and I'm already experiencing this.....

 

Ya it sucks. You would think they(GM) would find the problem and fix it, instead they just put the same damn part back in.

 

I have been getting a vibration also - but it is only when I am slowing down at about 10 to 5 miles an hour....is this the same thing?
