i got a price on cam install from KATECH
i called katech today to see what a price would be for some work on my car. a tune, cam, spring, rocker install and they said it would take around 2 weeks and be 5,000.00 vector motorsports is gonna give me a call back tomorrow with a quote on it so i can compair. they both are in clinton twp which is where i live so its close by.

There is this place in Madison Heights I saw in a issue of Motor Trend. They did some dyno testing on a Z06 and a Viper. I don't know anything about them but by the looks of the website they do some tuning for LS motors.

$5K seems a little hefty
Given the options you listed (a tune, cam, spring, rocker install) I think they are charging you about twice what they need to. Cam, springs, and rockers should be under 1.5K parts (even with great stuff) . . .then they want 3.5K in labor. . .I don't think so.

LMAO, bring it to me, with parts, and when im done, you can give me $1k. ill even throw in a set of pushrods. LMAO, $5k.

yea, but im serious, aside from lol'ing all over my computer screen.
i do LSx cam swaps as a side buisness and im really itching to do an LS4. but i cant convince my friend or my brother(both own GXPs BTW) to let me do a cam in their cars. they want to keep them stock for awhile
