There is this place in Madison Heights I saw in a issue of Motor Trend. They did some dyno testing on a Z06 and a Viper. I don't know anything about them but by the looks of the website they do some tuning for LS motors.

$5K seems a little hefty

Given the options you listed (a tune, cam, spring, rocker install) I think they are charging you about twice what they need to. Cam, springs, and rockers should be under 1.5K parts (even with great stuff) . . .then they want 3.5K in labor. . .I don't think so.

I was actually responding to eddiemoney, but you beat me in with a post

If you ever get a chance to do a cam swap on one, we all probably want to see the dyno chart

Which reminds me, wasn't there a thread on here a couple of weeks ago about a cam swap in progress? Hmmmmm, wonder how it turned out?

No kidding.....for that price, get a turbo kit.

Do you think you can hit 500whp with a 5k cam swap? Not even close.

I would let the guys at Vector do it. They have a great background and also awesome customer service. 2k for everything is a great price.

Chris White has a huge background on these cars and the L36/L67 cars aswell, so you will be in great hands.

BTW, what made you go from 2 blue montes to a maroon one?

$1700+ parts? Better jump on that man. Doing a cam swap is gonna be a PITA. But if the guy has experience with L36/L67 cars then he should be able to do it no prob.
