fastest LS4s?
Bolt-ons are few and far between for this engine (there's a few, but does not include even headers or intake manifolds).
Track times suffer due to unfavourable weight transfer in a FWD, you can't launch this car at much past half throttle and can't get to full throttle for about two seconds, otherwise you just light up the tires and go nowhere. Anyone even run a sub 2.0 60' yet?
These cars are quick "grocery getters", not race cars.

Also, as far as these LS4's not being a race car. Talk to the guys who had L67/L32 Grand Prix/Impala and Monte Carlos. They spent alot to run those cars in the top 9-10second class.
It can be done, we just need the parts to be there for us.

i have a SLP MAF full custom exhaust,SLP intake tune diff fuel setup.LS1 hot cam UMI control arms and a LS1 Hot Cam ill post pics soon just got the car back from being retuned. and Nitto Drs its a 6speed to if you wanted to know all pretty basic besides the cam and yes LS1's do pull 12.6s with just dr's
I figured these cars would take to bolt ons better, but i have searched they dont make much for these cars. I do know that SLP is comming out with stuff for them though
Well these cars weigh as much as an f body and have less engine... Traction limited, poor trans gearing (read 2 spd power glide). Mine is the quickest n/a one @ 13.1 @ 105 with not much done to it.
Comparing these to an F body is not even close to fair for drag racing capability.

Bone stock, at 64 degrees, with hot tires, I ran a 13.6. I don't really think it's that bad for a stock FWD V8. I haven't had a chance to run it with all my modifications, since the track has been closed.. But when I do, I'll let you know.
yeah thats a good run do you guys use slicks? ive seen some SRT4s get alot out of thrown em on the front wheels it might help. not sure if the stock motor mounts or control arms would hold up though or 10 bolt rear ends in fbodys are weak and break easy with slicks ive benn lucky so far i wouldnt say there really grocery getters any car in the 12s isnt really a grocery getter
