How are your rockers & lower doors doing?

With 36K miles my rockers are totally sandblasted too. I think it's the road salt they use here combined with the aerodynamics of the car. I've never seen it so bad on any other car I've owned. I knew I should have gotten a silver car instead of the laser blue. The dark color shows all the paint flaws so much more.
One thing I did catch just in time before my warranty ran out was that the lower front grille chrome was pitting. Still waiting for the part but the service writer said it was covered by the warranty. Unfortunatley the new one will probably share the same fate.

Yeah - I know I'm going to catch some crap for this, but mine's a D/D so:
I go to the quarter car wash and use the presoak followed by the high pressure soap to remove the stubborn stuff, then follow with a good cleaning.
Cost is about $1.25 / 5 minutes

You can also use that 3M tape to protect that area.
