Default Went To The Track!

Well it looks like I made the top 10 fastest LS4's with my best time last night. All that's done is the 3" catless DP, K&N kit and the tune by Milzy. I also had my new Drag Radials (255/50/16) BFG G-Force's and pulled the headlight. I only got 4 runs in but I was happy with all. Following is the video. The 3rd run was my best.

SORRY MESSED UP THE VIDEO EDIT FIXED

Yeah... we had to put that in because another forum I frequent said I was crazy if I thought I'd run low-mid 13's with what I had. I told them I would post video evidence whether I ran 12.9's or 16.9's... it was kind of to rub it in a little bit.

Haha I know! unfortuneately that Roushcharged red stang in the 2nd run got me by a bit. It ran 12.80's. I'm pretty confident with a 100 shot I could hit 12's.

ok a few quick questions what rpm are you launching at and are you leaving it in drive for your run? or 2nd or 3rd I found that I ran into the rev limiter leaving it in 2nd for my run. Thanks for the video I couldn't figure out how to do a proper burnout untill I saw your burn outs so tomorrow I am going to sit in the water box and get a proper burn out.

Well I went racing today I had to do 1/8 mile but I posted some of my best 1/8 mile times I was all the way down to 9.15 with a 2.02 60 ft. I even won $30 by getting to the semi finals it was a blast. Hey Tap could you post up your 60ft and 1/8th mile times thanks

That Roush must have been a bit..weird. My 05 GT, M5, Longtubes, O/R X, CAI, Suspension (1.2 froont 1.4 back lowered, NT-555's), with a 93 tune ran 12.90s. Anyways, good runs, man! Mine ran a 13.8 stock, and I imagine it would run a 13.73 now.

Good runs. I should have bought drag radials. I am happy with BFGs though.

For the launch I have the drag radials set to 15 PSI and they really do hook if you heat them. The best 60' I got all day was holding it at about 1700 then really laying into it (but not flooring it right off). My last launch would've been sweet because I just floored it and it stuck but the car stumbled (not TCS but the deal that's supposed to save the diff. kicked on). Also, I leave my car in "D" for racing but I have had the shift points changed with the tune to take more advantage of the power curve (especially the nasty 2-3 shift point stock). I will dig out my time slips and post the numbers you requested. Next time I go I'm gonna try and find a way to hold the *** end up like maybe some srping blocks or something because she really does squat on takeoff and I know that's hindering better 60' times. I think at least 1.8-1.9's are feasible with the DR's. Best I got was a 2.0.

Street tires and the guy couldn't seem to get it to stick at all. Other than the S/C not sure what was done to the car.
