Niagara Falls, Ontario Meets Planned April/July/Aug Not sure who here is from the eastern Canada/Western NY areas, but the crew at NAIOA is trying to set up a few meets for this spring/summer. Looking at April 19th/26th & July 5th/6th in the Niagara Falls region, and the third/last one August 8th at the GM Powertrain Canada annual meet in St. Catherines, which would include a tour of the plant itself (free if you're one of the first 300 registered).

I think we're probably looking at the 19th right now for the April meet. Would love to see your car there!

I'd go but I don't think I would be able to cross into Canada as I don't think I would be able to get a passport in time... I've been to Canada so many times and now I need a passport....

You won't need a passport until 2009. Just a valid DL and Birth Cert. SS card just in case. No excuses, there

OK, the April meet is on for Saturday, the 26th. Location and agenda TBD, but I'm thinking we might be able to meet in Fort Erie near the Peace Bridge (i think there's a park there), and then ride over to the Falls area for some drinks & grub.
The meet for the annual GM Powertrain, Canada, event is discussed HERE and seems to be picking up speed. NAIOA will have a decent showing of 5-10 cars, so why not join and make it more.

Awesome. We'd love to have you, wny. We're just trying to figure out a good time, and then it will be posted at OCCGP (Ontario, Canada ClubGP), too. They claim that there are 15members in that general area that might be interested. This could get BIG.
Taz, I believe there are always good meets with a few of the NAIOA guys in the midwest. Think there is a big one in Chicago coming up, too (a few members is big for us at NAIOA...and I don't think they hit all the forums like I did). Check us out....06MonteSS is a part of the NAIOA family, we'd welcome your Monte with open arms. Got some good guys with great ideas...
