I've got the Carbon Fiber Inferno hood. I paid a little over 900 from PFYC com. I'd say save your money! It's a very nice hood but it's not much lighter then the stock hood, and It does not extract very much heat either. Only a few of the vents work. As for the hood scoops, they really don't let any air in and there is no air box being made to make them work, plus the scoop opening under the hood is in the way of the coolant bottle. You might be able to adapt an older GTX air box, but the coolant jug would need to be relocated.
The hood does look bad *** and makes people take a lot of second looks! I like it, but would not buy it again. Its just not functional enough. I would do Roller Rockers with springs. In fact, you can buy Trans AM WS6 hood scoops off of E gay and have a shop mold them to your stock hood. The scoop is about 150.00 And to get the body work done would be about 500.

650 is for the fiberglass version, the Carbon fiber hood costs more. Shipping was something like 150.

Even though I don't like the Inferno hood, I'm all for some eye candy. As long as you like looking at it, that's all that matters. Be happy with the mods you do, and do them for you, not anyone else!

Default only problem I had

was mounting the hydraulic prop rod. It made the drivers side of the hood stick up but overall I'm happy with it.
