Seriously, I am from Mass and have put a massive hurting on Impala SS and a Grand Prix GXP in my TBSS (awd). The TBSS is my DD and I have run ins all the time with ImpSS's and GXP's. They creap up on me from time to time but I have consistently won, all depends at what speed they catch me at (what gear kickdown will bring me to). My g/f and I are in the process of buying a GP GXP because we do all hwy and this will minimize the gas expenditure of the TBSS. I have driven both (GXP) and the TBSS. The TBSS seems/feels stronger/quicker. Just my .02 because I genuinely love the GP gxp, Monte SS, Imp SS and gauged it's daily speed capability/fun factor to that of my TBSS while also considering gas mileage and putting in 87 instead of 93. I have gone through 2800 gallons according to the DIC of gas in 20months of ownership in the TBSS and retroactively that $.20 difference a gallon would look really nice in my pocket. Not trying to create enemies just again my .02

Let me just say that I did like my Impala SS alot, however....and I've mentioned it before, but I raced a stock awd TBSS when I had my vector tuned, shift kitted, catless downpiped 06 Impala SS and smoked him. I even blew it off the line giving him about 3 lengths but then ran him down. We talked and I told him to take his TBSS to Vector motorsports. Well he did and thought we would try it again. Well this time I launched great, he only got about half a car on me. But, I could not catch him, he actually pulled on me more, and I lost by about 2 cars. I couldn't beleive it. That and the fact that my second child came along and can not fit rear facing seats in the Impala was all I needed to get the TBSS.
I beat 2 of those cars and they had mods and my tbss is stock.
My wifes tbss ran a 13.3@103.97 bone stock at the track last week. I raced the guys when i was on her 22 inch wheels also and beat them no prob and im stock

Make sure to use the 100 shot cause thats the only way you will be able to beat one lol.
the cars are pathetic. We rented a impala ss and tuned it and i think it ran a 14.4 at the national meet.

what kind of gas mileage are you seeing with your TBSS? love those suv's, if i dont keep my car after this is all said and done, i'll be looking at those.

not bad! not bad at all!! hey if your ever around grand rapids area in michigan, come find me....we can run em' then after words i can show you how wasted you can get downtown at all the bars. (they are basically all on 1 or 2 blocks....its great!)
