Lingenfelter Ls4 Prototypes
I recently contacted Lingenfelter about if they wanted to use my car over the winter to develop parts for the ls4 front drives they seem interested so far they replyed asking for a list of ideas so i gave them a big detailed list from all the stuff i have gathered around here i got a message back that said they forwarded it to their engineers so keep your fingers crossed people and maybe by summer there will be new parts on the horizon

yeah i basically said that headers would be huge camshaft intake d shape and problems how forced induction destroys trannys and whatnot i also suggested extra wide fenders might be sweet to get bigger meats on there and that if they could get dod to work with all of it that would be ideal it was a long email but ill tell you when i hear from their engineers

yeah ill see what lingenfelter says first if there interested or whatever the thing that i like about them is they give you a warrenty on your car with your stuff im not sure about those other companys because lots of that stuff would ruin the factory warrenty

O-M-G!! A RWD Monte Carlo SS!!! with a V8! awesome! can you imagine someone slapping a third pedal in their? I always thought a Rwd at the very least would of been a great send off for the Monte SS

They were probably thinking that it was cheaper to build the car on an existing platform rather than develop a new RWD platform to appeal to the very small minority of enthusiasts like us who care whether or not the car is RWD or not.

BINGO!
I went with the front-driver because I wanted something I could dd in the winter as I travel to some rather snowy places for work. I picked the SS BECAUSE it was fwd.
If I wanted a performance car instead of a peppy front driver, I would have bought one.

And that was my exact view as well. I wanted a 4 door daily driver that still had some ***** to it. If I wanted an all out performance car, I would have looked elsewhere. It has fit the bill pretty well so far. Living in the NE having a hardcore performance car in the winter wasn't really an option for me.
