Default Watch your wheels guys!

Woke up this morning and my wheels were GONE !!! The car was sitting on blocks. They also stole the wheels from some guy down my street last night that had a Trailblazer SS.

Damn dude that's awful. Where are you from?

If that does happen to me, I am hoping to catch them in the act. Their lives will end and I'll be the one going to jail.

nah, our wheels don't COME with wheel locks... makes me think about buying a set though...

although, my car is garaged anyway, with whole house alarm and door/window/motion sensors... so if they can get through that without going deaf from 8 sirens, and get through the rottweiller... heh...

The first pic was the proud new car owner pic from two months ago, the other was from today ! And I dont think my area where I live has anything to do with it,the thiefs have just been targeting this area. Two days ago another Impala two blocks over had their wheels stolen also, so the officer said ! And yes I wished I would've woke up and caught them, keep a nice .45 between the matress ! Sure I would've been the one going to jail then the way the law is !!!

Depends on what you're implying, if you're going to be dumb and act tough like some people who say "I would have been going to jail if I would have caught them" and would ACTUALLY do something then yes. If you merely pointed a gun and told them to get the f*ck off your property, then no.

And yea, thats definately pricey. OEM stuff is always a ripoff. You could get far superior aftermarket wheels and tires for half of that. Just a thought. I'd get a set of wheel locks this time around, but like I said, most wont stop someone if they're determined enough.

Wheel locks are the way to go. I work for McGard and we make some pretty damn good wheel locks. Keys are very controlled by dealers and we have hundreds of different patterns. Best part about them....guaranteed not to rust, lifetime warranty!!

That **** sucks man. Was the area well lit, Maybe some motion sensor bright *** lights are in order. Or a good dog. Chances are they'll be back sooner or later.

Cheap camera systems can be had, some even have an alert feature that will let you know when something is in the cameras view. I installed one in my parents house. this is the system, I used an old pc as a dvr. works like a champ.

No the area was'nt very well lit, just going to have to park the car in the garage now,was just a hassle since the wife parks in the driveway also. Did'nt want to play musical cars in the driveway ! Guess I'll have to move my Monte over and make some room.
