Did the heads/cam combo require any flycutting? Do you have the lobe specs for the cam you had to get one ordered?

I ran an Ed Curtis Custom Grind (it has been sold) and did require flycutting the piston for the intake valve. I did the flycutting myself, it was actually pretty easy...just time consuming.

Here are the cam specs I used to achieve the power I did on stock cubes.

236/242 .630 .630 113 LSA

This combo also was used with an LSX intake, NW 90mm TB, and SVO 36lb injectors. They were getting pretty high in the duty cycle, so if building a similar setup go with 42lb injectors. I used the stock fuel rails but with a Racetronics fuel pump kit and harness.

Thanks for the info PJ. I just missed out on your old intake when it recently sold for the second time since you sold it to David.

Wow, that intake has traded hands alot! It would be nice if you could find it, as it was port matched to these heads! As you are local, I will also throw in the brand new Snap-on valve spring tool if you are interested, let me know!

Am I reading this correctly $2000 just for LS6 heads? Or is it for heads and cam?

They are LS6 Castings, but heavily worked by TEA. The cam has been sold. Pricing on the heads is negotiable. But I paid $3500 for them...Specs below:

TEA(Total Engine Airflow) Hand Finished to Racing Level heads (retails over $3500 new) specially for nitrous, o-ringed, flows 320+ cfm. 2.055 intake valve 1.6 exhaust valve, $550 Comp 921 springs (Total package worth over $4200)
These heads with an agressive cam made 500 RWHP N/A with a stock bottom LS1 through a 12-bolt rear end and over 650 RWHP on N20

Yeah, but some how they are not putting down the numbers. These heads are proven...ran 10.3 @ 135, and I can't even drive that well.

I will say from Exp that TEA's numbers flow what they say they flow or a bit better, buy yourself a set of those 2g PRC heads and flow then and see what they really flow. TEA does A+++ work on their heads.
