trying to gauge interest on what a good 2000 ls1 bare block is worth? any help would be great. thanks

thats what you would give or thats what theyre worth? cuz shipping i would think would be quite a bit which would make that block only worth bout 250 or so...

ya i would never pay over 300-350 for a bare block it doesnt mean someone else wont but i think 250+actual shipping is fair

I paid 150 for mine, and I also bought another one that had machine work done to. Hone and a hot tank bath for 300, if yours comes bare then less then 300. Prices have dropped in the past 3 months.

well this has main caps with it...i would never sell a block without them. i can clean this one in a hot tank as well.

well i say a few ls2 bare blocks go for around 450.

also shipping isnt that bad. i had a block shipped form ohio to iowa for under 125.

the blocks i bought had mains as well, and in very good condition, like stated it also had machining on the cylinders which cost alot more!!

like boring and honing i take it? usually 200 dollars at a machine shop...
