FS: 6.0L Long block, Passenger truck manifold, Hotchkis strut tower brace.
SOLD!! SOLD!! SOLD!!!
Lots of pics added on second page . For Sale is one 6.0L long block. Complete from valve covers to oil pan, harmonic balancer included but no flywheel. Engine came out of a 2005 2500 Chevy truck with over 50,000 miles. Truck was running when removed. It had a knocking noise in it and the owner decided to just replace it. I do not know if the knock was from lifter noise, piston slap, or bearing. I do know it was running good at the time. UPDATE!! Come to find out the noise was from the torque converter not the engine. The engine is pictured in a roll around stand. STAND IS NOT PART OF SALE! I do have the wooden factory shipping crate the other engine came on and I will ship it using this crate. I will answer all PM's. I am asking $650 + shipping, or $800 total wich includes shipping to a buisness address in Lower 48 states and all paypal fees.

Ok, couple questions. What is over 50,000 miles? 51,000 52,000 or 123,000? Also, Did you listen to the motor before it was pulled? What did it sound like to you? I think this could be a good deal IF the motor could be used as is. I can deal with a little piston slap and maybe a little lifter noise. But not with bearings goin bad.

Here are some more pics.
At the request of another member I pulled the pan off last night and inspected the main and rod bearings, I also borescoped the cylinders and inspected the rocker arm and lifters. All the bearings and the crankshaft are in perfect condition. The bearings have zero wear on them. The cylinder bores are in perfect shape, the rocker arms and valve train are in perfect shape. This engine is very clean and is in perfect condition.
