or, it could be <gasp> a throwaway account made by someone here to be sure they "win" the auction and keep someone else from actually getting screwed on it...

I already had this taken care of! Now it's obvious what's going on. No one is seriously going to pay $930 dollars. He'll probably delete your bid now. If you had read all of the posts you would have seen that. : (edit) Another ls1tech member bid high to keep anyone from winning. But after my post he deleted his post saying what he did. This had already been taken care of. Hopefully the seller won't delete the two of our bids because now it's obvious what is going on and that were trying to keep him from selling this intake. Hopefully the seller is as dumb as he is crooked. Haha. (To the other member )your heart is in the right place but next time read all of the posts. You didn't have to to this. It was already taken care of.

Everyone! Ebay pulled the auction!!!!

I got a message from e bay. They closed the auction due to numerous reports that the seller maybe selling a fraudulent copyrighted item! That's how I reported it when I sent my dozen messages to them and I'm sure many others did as well.

Thank you to all at Ls1tech who reported this item to ebay and to the other member who bid on it as well as myself to keep anyone else from getting ripped off.

Ps. thanks to the OP for bringing this matter to everyones attention!

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!

hahaha i got a email from ebay

Hello xxxxxxx,

Our records show that you recently received an email from themaroking through the Ask Seller a Question or Contact eBay Member features. This email may be fraudulent and an attempt to do one of the following:

- Obtain your eBay password
- Gain access to your eBay account
- Use your eBay account for fraudulent activity
- Set up an outside-of-eBay transaction which may be fraudulent

This kind of email is often called a "phish" or "phishing attempt," and the people who send them are known as "phishers." Phishers use these methods to try to get your personal information, such as user names, passwords and credit card details. Because the emails may sometimes come through the eBay system, the phisher may seem to be trustworthy and have a good reason to contact you.
ebay knows he is a scammer now I hope they ban him
