Default MTI R1 Cam 232/236 - 114LSA

Up for sale is a hardly used MTI R1 Cam with 232/236 @ .050 on a 114LSA. Just under .600 lift, sounds mean as hell. Decided it's a hair too small for my 408 and too big for my 5.3 I'm toying with. Need to sell quick. No trades, bought an LS6 cam instead.

$200 shipped firm Sold!

This is what it sounds like...

Karl, never ran it to be 100% honest, got it from a guy on norcal-lsx.com a couple years ago to use in my forged 347 (turbo, again) but ended up selling the car and scrapped that project. I planned to use 918's (the silver style) with it, the gold dual springs aren't a bad deal either. Hmmmmm, 220 @ .050, now you've got me thinking, who makes it? PM me if you would. Thanks.

Nice Trade. The 220 would work okay in your mild 5.3l engine while you finish your 408. You could get away with the 228 in a the 408 but I bet the 220 would work in both. After seeing members make 800+ RWHP with the LS6 cam, the 220 is not going to hold you back very much.

Never heard back from you Karl, going with an LS6 cam for that 5.3, will get a custom ground bigger cam for the 408 when the time comes. In the meantime, here are some pics of the cam.

Way too tight of an LSA for a 5.3 turbo car. Appreciate the offer!
