head and cam package ported 853's TTR The heads are hand ported 853s (99-00 LS1) that have been milled .030. Heads include the following:
New 2.02 Ferrea Stainless Intake Valves (not hollow)
1.55 Stock Exhaust Valves
Multi-angle SERDI valve job
New Patriot spring and Titanium retainer kit.
62cc Combustion Chambers (.030 mill)
10.9:1 Compression Ratio With Stock GM Graphite Head Gaskets and Stock LS1 Shortblock
Hand Ported and Assembled By a Professional Head Porter (non-sponsor)
Flow Sheet Included With Heads. Flow sheet shows flow before and after porting for an apples to apples comparison on the same bench.

Have a spare set of valves since the patriot spring retainer would not fit the pro flow stem groove. These are good as well

The camshaft is a Thunder Racing TR224-114 (A very well known and proven camshaft; if you’ve never heard of it, do a search and you’ll find TONS of info on it)
Advertized Specs are 224/224 .563/.563 – 114 + 4
Cam Pro Plus (Cam Doctor) Printout From Thunder Racing (Included With Cam) shows actual specs of 223.8/224.6 - .561/.564 - 114 + 4

Comp cams 7.4 pushrods.

Used Thunder ported ls1 oil pump was going to use this with my swap but changed plans.

The above combo produces approximately an 8.5:1 Dynamic Compression Ratio (DCR) which is a great target to shoot for yet still remain pump gas friendly. If you are looking for a top of the line, max effort heads and cam combo, this is NOT the set-up for you. If you are looking for very affordable, streetable, and potent street/strip combo that is a great improvement over your stock equipment, this may very well be what you’re looking for.
Went with another project. Never installed. I bought new spring kit and had it installed with the new intake valves.
