Have 1 01-04 LQ4 short block $450
Have 1 05-09 LQ4 short block with the beefier LS2 style floating rods.$650
Have 1 04-09 LQ9 short block $850

Getting a lot of questions. A short block generally consist of block, crank, rods and pistons still assembled from a previously running engine.
Any sensor's, covers, pulley's and what not are considered bonus parts. I have no controll over what elses is on there. We buy them already pulled down.
I dont sale Junk parts. If there is an issue with any of the assembly's I tare them down and part them out.
All assemblys turn over freely as they should.
There is no such thing as a short block that will run.
I always recomend tearing all short blocks down and cleaing them prior to assembling them as a complete engine and installing it in your vehical.

So to open this question for every to maybe stop a few pm's, do these motors come with all the covers? Most short blocks have all the necessary front/rear and valley cover and also usually include a pan. If you wouldnt mind letting me know this information I would appreciate it. I dont need a pan myself, but i do need the motor to have all the covers.

If you call an engine supplier they will also tell you the same thing. A short block consist of the block, crank, rods, pistons bearings rings. camshafts, oil pumps, timing chains, lifters, covers and sensors are all considered extra bonus parts. Covers are considered a non mechanical part of the engine and since they dont wear, usually they dont need to be replaced.
As I stated above. I have no control over what get's removed at the wrecking yard.
If you would like more specifc details on an engine listed Contact Gabe @ 714-588-2504

im speaking from a perspective on this site, i would think it would be kind of hard to sell a motor that could have the possibility of having parts taken off of it as you list it on here.
