i have a vig triple disk 3400 stall under 250 miles
rpm level 4 4l60e under 250 miles
700 converter
1300 tranny
1900 for both

 

Trade for a rebuilt six speeds and a few extras (shift forks/etc)?

 

im going with a 4l80e

 

Was there any damage to the tranny/converter when you removed it or was it simply because you wanted to swap?

 

no damage at all i bult a 440lsx motor from a well known builder and the motor spun a main bearing on the dyno
never saw the track
every thing was brand new tranny/converter/motor 20,000 wasted
should of kept my 408 ran great for 4 years. too late now
now it is winter and i have do it all over again
going with a 4l80e
the motor did 850 hp 920 torque before it blew
i dont want to ruin the tranny by overpowering it

 

What did you notice that the converter stalled to? Ive heard vig stall # are underrated and Im curious to what this one was like.

 

i really dont know i drove the car 200 mile or so to break it in
and i really did not get on it.im sure it would of flashed higher
