Ill take these heads over AFR225 heads.....compare the two. They are not equal for what you get for your money

I'm not trying to cause grief. Just curious as to what these have the AFR's dont?

What is the port volume of these, do you know?

I have a set of ARE Stage III LS6 heads also, but I was thinking of getting some AFR 225's.

What heads are you going to go with?

to get the afrs to the same level as these heads you would be spending an additional 1500 AT LEAST.....the afr 225's as you say dont come with the valvetrainas these heads already have nor do they come with a 1.55 double spring to have the ability to run a rolid roller setup....(.100 longer valves, new larger seats, titi retainers &locks)

but hey you have these same heads....right......

Thats what I was wondering, what made them ready for a solid roller.

I was also incorrect in my assumption of the AFR's having double springs and ti retainers/locks.

god this is annoying. these heads are worth every penny, trust me. hes the big guns of art. they sent him in to take me down. i backed down cause im not stupid.

The ONLY reason to get a set of afr's is if you boost your car and youre worried about the heads lifting/warping. Thoes few running these style heads and T O N S of boost are only having to replace the gasket every so often...

anyways. these heads rock and i will vouge for that. these heads are what we like to call RACE heads, not DYNO heads...they get results in the 1/4, not a line on a sheet of paper.

im only posting all of this because i know this is yout second thread and its honestly pissing me off that people CONTINUE to make comments like they are without doing research. Anyways, good luck selling em!

Thanks,
I think its weird that people who have the heads dont know anything about what they own considering how much they cost.... ...I guarantee you run a AFR head and not spend money on it after you purchase the AFR heads and these heads will outperform your AFR heads. You will need to spend 1500 like CAMNHAWK said to make AFR heads equal to these.
