It is a bolt in cage. I don't know why it couldn't be welded in though.

How much would it be to upgrade the 6 point in the future to 8..10.. or whatever might be necessary for a sub 10 second pass. I might be interested.

Wolfe sells the "front half" kit to convert a roll bar to a roll cage. Their site "www.wolferacecraft.com" says $275. Looks pretty good. I may end up doing this myself.
