For Sale: Complete LS1 Engine 44k miles Hey guys,
Ok Here it is a Complete LS1 motor, its just blown. Here is what happened: The previous owner put in an aftermarket cam (I am not sure which one, I'll try to find out) but never repaced the stock springs. Needless to say one spring broke and dropped a valve on the piston which cracked the block in the number 5 cylinder I believe. I was extremely pissed about this, but I was just glad it was under warranty.
The engine is complete from air lid to oil pan, including coil packs, manifolds (exhaust and intake), heads,push rods, motor mounts,etc. One head is totally fine, the other can be repaired by the look of it. Only one piston and connecting rod was damaged. The block, 1 piston, and 1 connecting rod are shot and the head can be repaired like i said. Other then that every thing is good. I can also try to get some picture, especially on request.
The engine is almost totally dissasembled, except the crank and pistons in the block. The engine only has 44 thousand miles on it. And when it was taken out I wrapped everything and sealed it, to keep any dirt out.
I am going to ask for $1400, but I am open to criticism on that as I am not totally sure what a blown LS1 is worth. I just know used ones are pulling $3500. Thanks guys and I appreaciate any input.

a few questions What year is the motor? Does it come with ls1 or ls6 intake? Does it come withh throttlle body and injectors?Any accessories or brackets and PCM and harness come with it. Email me some pictures if you want so I can take a look. Might be interested I am in Central Jersey on weekends?

The motor year is 2000. It is the stock LS1 intake manifold. It does come with the injectors and throttle body as well as plug wires and air intake box lid and K&N filter. No accessories included. and No PCM or harness. Ill try to take some pics on Friday. I am possibly willing to deliver it myself for just the cost of gas.

what ever is good on it is about all it would be worth. intake, TB, maybe salvage the cam? but not to be rude, but its only worth a few hundred dollarsmaybe 500. . thats if the cam is good and the crank didnt get trashed.

I am willing to lower the price to $1000
Some one has to have a need for this engine I may be willing to seperate parts if people are really that interested.
