Guys, just thought I'd share what I know with you:
This model is the now obsolete and discontinued "G-tech Pro" model. They retailed for $60 last year, and are NOT real accurate. I have 2 friends that own them, and while they are okay for comparing mod differences, they are very inconsistent when it comes to launching. As mentioned, they do not account for body roll.
The "better" one was the G-tech Pro COMPETITION. I own this one, and I love it. Great screen, window and dash mounts, analysis software that is VERY VERY cool, and EXTREMELY CONSISTENT. Furthermore, it was rated by one magazine about 2 years ago to be just as accurate as a dyno. You can download all the results in your PC, which will show you three runs at a time, with your 60' times, 1/8 & 1/4 mile (estimated and/or actual) ETs, 0-60, 0-100, g-forces in 3 different axis, and more. The best part is it also shows EVERYTHING in a big graph (multiple graphs on multiple pages, actually) so that you can SEE it. My old man **** his pants when he saw the torque curve on his Mustang GT. Advertised at 280rwhp or so, the graph shows it running at right around 200 except for one TINY spike of power in the high rpms that hits 280 for about 300 rpms duration! HAHAHA. But anyway, it shows your hp curve (real-world measured, so it is ALWAYS "wheel" power), tq curve, you can visually see your shift points, etc. The best part is that if you have multiple runs to compare, you pick which three to show, and it overlays them on the same graph for each category you select.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
If you go to g-tech's website, they now offer two models:
G-Tech Pro/SS (Super Street) - looks like this is the original Pro model re-packaged with the new screen. At $200 retail, I'd spend the extra bucks for the better model.
G-Tech Pro/RR (Road Racer) - this looks like EXACTLY the same model I have, with the software and dash mounts and all, just with a new name. Suggested retail is $300 and well worth it in my opinion.
