I'm in. I've seen them advertised on TV. When I asked the question above I was trying to remember if that was the unit I saw on Speed TV.

Sounds like a cool new toy

According to th TV add they are very accurate...and if the TV commercial says it, it's got to be true

Even if they aren't accurate, it'll be a good way to gauge how well mods have improved performance. As long as it's consistant, you can just take the difference in values of the before and after mod to get the improvement. I'm thinking that it should be quite accurate though. Personally, I think 33.50 is dirt cheap and I had to get in on it before they were all gone. Thinking about maybe getting another one since they're so cheap. I don't know why, but for some reason it feels wrong not to.

Exactly, that is what I am hoping for. Do 3 runs, avergae them out. Do 3 runs after mods, avergae them out, then see the difference.

These can be pretty accurate. To get the best results you have to "tune" them at the track. There are certain variables you have to input, and to get the best results, play with those variables at the track, until you get the times almost exactly on.

If I am not mistaken the only real short-coming with this model is it doesn't account for body roll, where as the new model does.
