It's also the size of the cam that the cables mount to. The '01+ cars have a larger cam that opens the tb slower. PITA if you don't have the correct year! The Shaner S3 is a work of art!!!!! Buy it if you can!!!

I just got back my TB last week from Shanner, and installed it. It's worth it! 
Go to the Ls1 for and under search type Shanner it will give u his web site and the web site has pics.

Well, quite honestly I can't speak for him. However I do know that there are alot of "tire kickers" on these sites. I am not implying that you or myself fall into that category. But he does say that it mite be sold, and at the time he sent you the email that he still had it (06-05-05/07:51 PM) he must not have known or checked ( as he said he was busy) that I had already pp'd him the money waaaaayyyyy earlier that day.
Still, all that being said I would take a back up offer...................should offer #1 fall thru.
