Okay, is this the only tool I would need to scan data, tune my car, and flash my PCM? I can make permanent changes with this tool, right?

 

yes, this is the personal edition flashscan. What that means is you can scan as many cars as you want and you can program two cars. The scanning just works. The actual programming and flashing program locks itself to two vin numbers. I have not locked it to my car or done anything with it. I have all the original paperwork, the box the cables and software.

edit: You can buy more licenses from efilive as well at about $100 each I believe. But the first two licenses are included. Chances are the average user isn't going to be tuning more than two cars anyway.
