ls1 engine for sale 2000 z-28 engine with 70,000 miles. Had good oil pressure and no bottom end knock, it does need to have at least 1 piston replaced,but no sleve damage that i can see. I would recomend replacing them all with a set of forged pistons. Will sell as a short block or whole engine minus the intake. the heads are off the motor and fresh out of the machine shop with a valve job. It has the oil pan, front and rear covers,rockers, valve covers and valley cover. will take 1000.00 for complete motor or will work out prices if split up.

it came out with a rattle, i pulled the heads to check lifters and pushrods, they are fine but 3rd cyl back on drivers side of engine you can move piston in cylinder. i rotated the engine and do not see any wear on cylinders. my guess is the ring land on the piston is gone.
