Default Comp XER 238/240 .605/.609 112

Need to sell my comp xer 238/240 .605/.609 112 cam, Its to big for my milled heads cam has 300 miles on it have cam card and receipt if anyone is interested. asking $275 Just paid $350 for it about 3 weeks ago new from byunspeed.com

Did you need different length pushrods? and what length?

All depends on what cam you have in your engine now. If stock and heads have never been off or milled you will need longer push rods. If you have stock head gaskets it won't matter but if you have changed to a different type of gasket than stock it may be thicker and require a longer rod to compensate. I would call CompCams Monday for the proper answer to your question. If my memory is correct, Comp grinds their cams on a .050" smaller circle so you'd need at least .025" longer push rods to keep the geometry correct.

stock unmilled heads use 7.400 length pushrods, no flycutting.

My Comp Cam has a smaller base circle and I have to run 7.350 p-rods. With cometic gaskets and clean-up mill. No fly cut.
