Default F/s - 228/228 .588/.588

228/228 .588/.588. Its on a 112, no cam card. Marks on the end are: cc 3724R/3724R HR112.

I bought it used off here about 2yrs ago. I'm thinking it had around 4k miles. I finally installed it 3 weeks ago for 100 miles and bought bigger.

225.00

Alan

I never had it dyno'ed but from searchs, looks like 375-385 with all the bolt ons.

I only drove it around the block a few times i it ran but didn't want to idle with the stock program...It needs tuning, just not as much as my new cam!

it makes real good numbers under the curve and has pretty nice under the curve numbers too. there was a thread in the internal engine forum about what numbers we were putting down with the 228 228 cams.

This is a rougher version of the cam I have been looking for (114LSA). How well does this idle?

Idles smooth I thought. Thats why I went to a 110 lsa

Usually the rule of thumb is 112 or lower for manual and 114 or higher for auto...but that all depends on your stall. Like I was saying its a great everyday cam...just alittle larger than a 224/224 that everyone was running at one time!
