F/s - 228/228 .588/.588
228/228 .588/.588. Its on a 112, no cam card. Marks on the end are: cc 3724R/3724R HR112.
I bought it used off here about 2yrs ago. I'm thinking it had around 4k miles. I finally installed it 3 weeks ago for 100 miles and bought bigger.

I only drove it around the block a few times i it ran but didn't want to idle with the stock program...It needs tuning, just not as much as my new cam!

it makes real good numbers under the curve and has pretty nice under the curve numbers too. there was a thread in the internal engine forum about what numbers we were putting down with the 228 228 cams.

Usually the rule of thumb is 112 or lower for manual and 114 or higher for auto...but that all depends on your stall. Like I was saying its a great everyday cam...just alittle larger than a 224/224 that everyone was running at one time!

My old Z put down 425hp locked with that cam through an A4, stall and 3.73s.. made 408 hp and 408 tq unlocked.. Great cam, comp grind.. Many shops were selling it.. Mine happened to be a TSP 228R.. 7.28 1/8 and very streetable..

one of my good friends had ths cam w/ basic upgrades fast 78 ported tb maf lid lth yada yada w/ 4.10 ans a 6 speed put a lil over 410 rwhp i forget the torque he was very ver y very pleased after the TUNE . vhe works for comp here in memphis and says he still gettin close to 24 mph, and he drives like me
