I doing away with the install. I've altered it to fit for a Strange 12 bolt and is ready to go. After much thought and headache, I'm just gonna go with a different torque arm. It was built for a Moser, but now it will work for both.

It was built for a Moser 12 bolt and I modified it to fit a Strange. Now it will work for both. By the way, I didn't hack it up, if you saw it, you'd think it came like that. Don't take modifying in a bad sense.

Default NEW MADMAN torque arm for sale

NEW (never been installed) MADMAN torque arm, with slider front mount, spherical rod ends, chromoly construction, multiple instant center mounting points, driveshaft loop, black finish, and rear mount has been modified to fit a Strange 12 bolt. Will still work with a Moser as well. Fitting for Strange 12 bolt has no affect on the fitment for a Moser rear end. I've attached pics below. I have 100% positive feedback here on the board and on Ebay (i8asvt). $650 + shipping.

PM sent. By the way, shipping wouldn't be that bad as we're in the same state.

Can you show a picture of how you "modified" the axle bracket?

I've attached a pic of the rear mount. I really didn't do much to it. In the bigger circle, I notched out a little section so that it doesn't hit/rub the pinion and in the 2 smaller circles towards the bottom of the pic, I did a little griding so that it allowed me to push the mount over and line up the bolt holes.

Decided to go with a different torque arm. Nothing wrong with it and there's nothing I don't like about it, I just decided to go a different route.

Well, I have been considering one of these for a long time. I know his product is top notch, but I am a bit concerned about this modification and the fact that you are asking close to what you paid. I am wondering how much work I would have to do to make the torque arm safe again. It seems like the modified mount would never hold up to the stress of a solid launch. However, if Madman can come in here and vouch that this modification makes the torque arm good as new, I would definately consider it. Can you get him to back it up? Thanks.

The best thing todo in this instance is for Dragaholic to bring the mount back to my shop for inspection. If the integrity of the mount is in question I will resolve the problem. All in the name of manufacturer support.
