Default iron 402, built TH400 - F/S or trades

i have an iron block SLP 402 motor with patriot performance stg 3 ls-6 heads, and an MTI stealth 2 cam. want to trade that for equally valued aluminum block motor, or will trade for stock ls1/cam only ls1 with money on top.

also - i have a built TH400 trans behind that motor, i want my overdrive back, so i'm willing to trade for a bulit 4l60e.

trans has a r.m.v.b. with a B&M pro-ratchet shifter, art carr 3,500 stall, and a trans brake...

if you are interested, pm me and let me know what you're thinking!

im in the chicagoland area.

yea - 440+ rwhp through the old 6spd. this was through flowtech headers, 3" o.r.y. and a hooker catback - full exhaust no cut out or dyno tricks.

i would very much be interested in a forged stock displacement motor.

let me know

it's the high comp motor. w/ my 68cc heads it brings it from 11.2 to a more pump gas friendly 10.6/10.7

what other info do you want? it's less than a year old... it's had only a few thousand miles put on it.

let me know.

why the switch... well a while ago i was looking to sell the entire car to get out of debt... this way i can keep the car but pay off some bills.

other reason is becuase i see iron blocks good for massive amounts of power adder - which i was planning on spraying 300+ h.p. at the car... but ran out of funds. so now i wont be spraying that much if at all - so i'd like to keep the weight off with an aluminum block, and take some cash on top of it to pay off my credit card.

the motor has an eagle 4" crank, eagle H-beam rods, and forged ross flat top pistons with -6cc valve reliefs. nominal compression is 11.2 i believe. but with my 68cc heads and stock head gaskets, it's around 10.6-10.7:1

any other questions? the motor is great, has not given me any problems. there's torque EVERYWHERE and pulls hard to 7k. but i don't need the iron block, and do need some extra cash - especially for the upcoming holiday!

okay - well then you can take just the shortblock, and maybe give me your entire motor straight up or something. that way no cash has to be involved... i don't know. just an idea.
