Stock LS1 long block for sale! 5.7L aluminum, 81k mile longblock
For sale I have an 81k mile longblock out of a 1999 Camaro Z28. I am selling because I bought a low compression shortblock and no longer need the stock long block. I want to sell it with the block and full rotating assembly, cam and timing set, front and back engine covers, all valvetrain, heads and valve covers. No sensors or electronics will be included. I may include the oil pan and/or the intake manifold, throttle body, fuel rail and fuel system if you would like to buy those as well. This is an ideal drop-in for someone who has blown their motor. Asking price is $1,500 OBO - VERY negotiable.
Please give me a call at 412-401-6497 if you are interested. My parents operate a salvage yard, so we can pallate and ship freight pretty much anywhere. We also have forklifts to load trucks. I pulled the engine and trans last week - the car ran fine before we dismantled it. The engine held coolant and the oil pressure was fine. You can see pics here:

Shipping quotes are tough... I need to talk to the interested person on the phone and work out a price before I get a shipping quote. Every time I get a quote, the shipping agent calls me almost every day bugging the heck out of me! Give me a call first, my number is in the very first post.
Thanks, -Dave

TTT - btw, shipping to just about anywhere SHOULD be between $150 and $300. I do not charge to pallate and package the engine... I only need whatever the freight company charges me for the actual shipping costs. If you want to get your own shipping company that's cool too. I am betting it will be around 350 pounds, and we ship on 48"x48" pallates.
