I have an assembled 383 LT1 shortblock with the following components and machine work :
Parts:
Wiseco Forged-Tru pistons - 4.030" bore/ flat top
File fit rings
Compstar 6" forged H-beam rods w/ ARP 2000 bolts
Callies racemaster crank - 3.75" stroke
ARP main studs
Large chamfer race bearings
Melling high volume oil pump
Callies billet main caps
Hydraulic roller cam 230/244/114
Machine work:
Bored & honed .030" w/ torque plates
Decked
Billet main caps installed
Clearanced for stroker
Rings file fitted
Cam bearings & soft plugs replaced
Assembly balanced
Shortblock assembled
Here Are Some Pics
The pistons and crank came out of a running engine. Both are in very good condition, as you can see in the photos. The crank was magged & polished, and is still std/std. Everything else is new.
Asking $2900 plus shipping for the complete shortblock, including timing cover & oil pan.
