Yea im sure you guys dont know this but 85% of the stuff ive sold on here ive never taken pictures. I didnt take pictures of the intake because well its an LS6 intake that came right off my car. I never thought that something like this would have happend. Were trying to figure things out though. Hopefully we will get to the bottom of this. Thanks for all the help guys.

Even if you get it resolved, still take it down to the local police station and request fingerprinting, and get it on video. I've bought parts from stangkilr. Seemed like a pretty straightforward guy, I find it hard to believe he would knowingly send the wrong intake.

It was sealed the whole time it left my house. Byron, yes I did realize I forgot the coolant lines after I got back and was going to ship them to you but then this all started. I am still going to ship them to you though since I said I was going to throw them in. I dont care if you are trying to scam me, im keeping my word on at least this. You will need them with that LS6 intake anyways.

Something doesn't add up here. I just saw this thread was still going on (hadn't seen it since it had 2 posts). Stangkilr had a thread previous to this one, saying that he was going to pull his intake off and sell it, I PM'd him before anyone, gave him my info, and told him to let me know as soon as he got the thing off, I'd take it.

The next week I saw this thread where he was trying to sell this so I PM'd him about it, then called him the next morning as I was about to walk out the door to get a Money Order and needed an address. He told me that he had decided not to sell the intake. Needless to say, this kind of pissed me off because it was my understanding that we had a deal set up, then he backed out at the last minute.

Ten minutes after that, I said the hell with buying a used one because dealing with crap like that wasn't worth the hassle. I ordered one from Texas Speed along with some true duals.

I believe that either I was told wrong about the backing out of selling the intake, or it must have sat there for more than a couple hours. IMHO, the credibility of Stangkilr seems pretty questionable at best. My experience dealing with him was far from good, and I'm really curious as to what the real story behind all of the B.S. really is.

By the way, here's the first link where the intake was posted for sale.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/491508-fs-ls6-intake-241-heads-01-02-tb.html

If it had already been posted once, why start a new thread for it?

I personally believe that we all need to stop bashing these two and let them figure it out amongst themselves as they have agreed to do. And when they decide on the resolution and feel inclined to tell us I'm sure they will, in the interest of both parties. Good luck gentleman.

Yea because I sold another LS6 intake back in november for my a FAST intake for my old Trans Am. I had an LS6 intake on my old Trans Am as well. That intake had around 20,000 miles on it as well. If you guys know me you know I go through cars pretty fast. I have had 4 ls1 cars in 4 years.

well obviously this guy has a smart answer for everything ...you said this stangkiller*Because when I turned my last car back to stock I put the stock LS1 intake on it along with the 98-00 style coolant lines. I had an extra set laying around because my new car had the new style ones as well* ...so how did you installed an ls6 intake with those lines ?

if you paid with paypal you should file a complaint and they have an option when the seller sent you something that was incorrect ....thats your best bet ....other than that all you got left is stay mad with an expensive ls1 intake or stay mad because you couldnt pull a scam

Maybe your not getting what I was trying to say. Okay, my old 2000 Trans Am. I bought an LS6 intake for it a while back, then bought a set of newer style coolant lines. I took all the old stuff off and kept it. When I turned it back to stock before I sold it a month ago I took off the newer style lines as well as the FAST intake I put on it several months back. So when I got this camaro 3 weeks ago it allready had the newer style lines along with the LS6 intake. So I had an extra set of new style coolant lines I could sell with the LS6 intake. I dont know how that doesnt make sense.
