This is a new Compushift controller I bought this to do a 4L80-E conversion in my LT1 1995 Camaro which also works on LS1 cars. It can actually be used in any car to control a 4L80-E or 4L60-E (Street Rods, Classic Muscle Cars, or cars that did not have an overdrive transmission), even if you are running a carbureted engine because the kit comes with a special carburetor cable so the controller can get a throttle signal. The controller has many features and I bought it with the optional display / programmer which attaches to the controller and can be installed inside the car so you can adjust shift firmness and shift timing from inside your car without having to hook-up a laptop. You can use the display / programmer to set the transmission to shift smooth for cruising or neck snapping hard for racing, you can also set what rpm you want the transmission to shift, all from inside of your car. This kit comes with detailed installation instructions. You can also estimate horsepower due to its built in g meter and many other features. I paid over $1100 for this kit. This is the same controller B&M uses on their 4L60E conversion kits.
