Solid Roller Pump Gas 434 C5R Motor For Sale
I'm parting out my entire project based on the financial constraints all of it has put on me and time constraints. Everything has only been started and backed up and down the drive way a few times and that's it. No run time, dyno time (except as noted below), or drive time.
Longblock was built by Erik of HPE/HK Enterprises. Heads were used by East Side Performance on the dyno along with the other top end components, discussed in further detail below.
Shortblock details.
-434 cubic inches
-4" Callies Racemaster Crankshaft
-6.125" Callies Compstar Connecting Rods
-38CC Weisco 4.155" diameter turbo dish piston with ring package opened up approximately .002" for a 150 shot of nitrous
-Darton Wet Sleeved LS1 Block by Steve at Race Engine Development, honing and all additional post sleeve machine work performed by Erik at HPE/HK Enterprises
-ATI Ballancer SOLD
-Rollmaster dual roller timing chain
-Isky Redzone C5R lifters (some of the best in the stock .842" diamter) custom designed by Erik of HPE/HK Enterprises
-Factory Knock Sensors, Brand New
-Factory crank sensor Brand New
-Oil Pressure Sendor has 58,000 miles on it
-Ported and polished oil pump with bigger spring
-new stock oil pan
Top End Components (purchased with a few minutes run time from East Side Performance, valve springs and pushrods are brand new however due to different cam choice, head studs are new, injectors are new, headers are new):
-C5R Heads with 38cc chambers and 2.18/1.62 titanium valves
-Comp 959 Roller Springs with 250lbs/700lbs open/close pressure
-Ports on back of cylinder head for external water pump (plugged off with pipe plug but can be used by unscrewing pipe plugs)
-Sb2.2 single plane manifold which was heavily modified and reworked for use on a c5r headed motor (ports are in similar location to sb2.2 head) at Pat Musi's shop
-Billet Fuel Rail
-60lb/hr Mototron Injectors
-1550 CFM 4150 Flange (similar to carb) Accufab Throttle body
-Kooks C5r headers with 1 7/8" to 2" stepped primaries into a 3.5" merge collector
-Commetic 4.160 or 4.165" (can't remember right off the top of my head) darton MID wet sleeve head gaskets
-ARP Head Studs
-254/260 110lsa solid roller cam (comp cams extreme energy street roller lobes, serious buyers can be provided with lobe numbers) installed 4 degrees advanced for a 106 intake center line
-1.95 jesel pro series c5r rockers making lift of the cam .754"/.760"
-C5r valve covers with spring oilers, all lines are run, and breathers are placed in the center of each cover (covers also have provisions for vacuum pump if desired to run one)
I'm sure i'm missing a few items but that's about it right off the top of my head. I have the invoice for work performed by HK Enterprises for inclusions of any more specifics for serious buyers. We figured on projected horsepower with this motor being in the 650-700 range conservatively with pump gas and 850 or more with the 150 shot. IT ABSOLUTELY BREAKS MY HEART AND KILLS ME TO SELL THIS MOTOR BUT I JUST CAN'T JUSTIFY THIS ANY MORE. Let my serious misfortune be your gain. All together there's about $20,000 in parts here and labor. I'm looking for $11,000 out of all the items mentioned above in assembled form. This combination has only been started a few times and backed up and down the driveway. I just can't afford it and spend the time on it anymore:
Please pm any serious offers or email me at nfulford@hcea.com. Further, I will contact Erik and make him aware of possible questions anyone may have for him if needs be. Thanks.
In addition, see my signature link for photographs of all of this. Some of the photos, i.e. the valve covers with out breahters, are not current. I can get pictures of any thing else needed.
Head Flow Numbers on 4.155" bore:
Intake:
.100 67
.200 150
.300 222
.400 295
.500 341

Man, I'm really sorry to hear that you're giving away this project!! 11K is way too low for this, and it just pains me to see you have to take such a huge loss. This is just Crazy, you should have let me know of this when my project fell through, I would've bought your shortblock!!
TTT for ya, and I hope you get a good sale!!
Best Regards,
Adrian

God damn it, don't sell it now! Get that thing to the track at least first, the results have GOT to be known for that top end package.
If you had put this up for sale before I got started on my new motor I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.
Good luck with it wether you sell it ro run it, it's an awesome setup that should be very badass, and streetable.

Guys, you don't know how much the kind words mean. It's just too out of control at this point, i'm spending money on this thing like I own an oil refinery and that's just not the case. That, and the time thing has gotten waaaaaaaaay out of hand. My current job is going very well and I really need more time to devote to it. It's time to focus on other things in my life. Thanks again and let me know if yourselves or any of your buddies are interested!

Wow that is one hell of a setup. I wish I could afford this. If I wasn't so into this turbo project i've got going I would just buy this and be done. Could sell my stock motor and this would be a sub 10k motor built with top of the line parts. Its a shame it has to go! Looks so badass in there too.

If you don't have time for it, let it sit! There can't be much left to do other then tune it and get it to the track now is there?
Don't make a rash decision... give it a month and sit on it, and then think about it again. You have one of the most unique setups that has been built for an lsx motor, don't let that get parted out again and not get run.. it killed me to see that parted out teh first time it happened.. don't let that happen again!!

Sometimes my ambition gets in the way of reality hence this situation right now. Something I forgot to mention is the possibility that Erik at HPE/HK Enterprises may in fact continue to warranty this shortblock once it's exchanged hands but I can't gaurantee that as i've not spoken with him yet. Any serious inquiries feel free to inquire about this and i'll discuss it with him. Thanks for all the interest.
P.S. Anyone who does purchase this motor i'd certainly like to maintain contact with to see what results as it's the produce of much research, money, and hard work.
