Those videos are of original 175k mile window motor before and after, although installing our kit with a new motor is the best way.

Motors eventually will need to be replaced, but to be honest, those 3 cars in the vids are still rolling around with the same original motors!

Well I Have fixed these window Motors buy Bypassing the Internal Circiut Breakers for years and It takes about 15 minutes a door. 3 inches of wire an Eyelet and a screw or a rivet. Its really easy and costs about $2. Did it on both my doors on my 1991 Z28 and and they worked for 3 more years after they both quit working. Then I sold the car. Its an easy fix that I have had to show many people. Cant believe no one has figured it out yet. Oh well good luck with your business. Looks like your doing good!

Bypassing the internal Circuit breakers has nothing to do with the problem our kit fixes on the 93-02 model years. Prior years had proper wiring and the weak circuit breaker was the only weak link. Our kit fixes a voltage drop issue that GM themselves fixed on the same circuit layout in other cars.

Earlier years just need the door panel taken off and the tracks cleaned. I've got an 89 with millions of miles, stock motors, and the windows roll up and down just fine.

93-02 motors die and stop working within a year off the lot on some cars.

Please read the entire thread before posting as we have addressed exactly what the kit does and do not need un-educated posts confusing people.

The Internal Circuit Breaker is the Main Problem! The Voltage drop isnt what Kills the Motors its the internal circuit Breaker that gets weak after time and then starts letting less voltage get to the brushes of the motor, Causing it to start working slower and slower until it Finally stops working altogether. I have also Did this repair to my 2002 Firehawk which has the Same exact window Motor as my 1991 Z28. You obviously Dont actually Understand how the Circuit Breaker works in these window Motors and that they are what Fails 95% of the time! Like I said before good luck with your Business. I will keep fixing them the way I have for 10 years and you can make money off of peeps who dont know better.

is there a write up on by passing this circuit breaker? Doesn't sound like a safe way to fix the motor but its worth a shot

You still have the Circuit breaker in the Fuse box. But you can always add your own also if you worried. Its to hard to explain. I always have to show peeps on their cars then they believe me and understand. Im not trying to Rain on this guys parade. Was just trying to inform. Im sure im fixin to get flamed from him again. Good luck guys.
