I wasn't trying to be rude just telling you what my friend literally JUST paid 3 weeks ago for an COMPLETE LS6 out of an 03 Z06. They even threw a cam in it for him and put it in the car. Just trying to give you an idea is all. The LS6 is not some sort of god compared to the LS1. Better heads/cam and different cooling passages. So I'd say if you get 4k complete to be happy is all.

Yeah it's doable no doubt. His cam is not even that big for a 427 or he'd prolly be nearing 600rwhp+
