Default FS:347ci Rotating Assembly $1000

I've got a 347ci rotating assembly for sale that I don't really have the time or money to put to good use. I bought these parts from another board member and they were slightly used, but in great shape. The rods and pistons are balanced to with +/- 1g of eachother and already pin fitted with about .0009"-.001" clearance, and the crank is already balanced for this assembly.

Eagle H-beam rods with ARP bolts

Diamond Dished pistons (cc'd at 10.82cc)

Stock GM 3.622" crank

I have the bearings as well. The coating is worn off, but in otherwise great shape. Rod bearing clearance is already set with the bearings at .0026"-.0029" torqued at 75ft-lbs. All you would need to purchase is new rings and locks to put this all together in a motor. Although the parts are used, with the machine work already performed I think $1000 would be a fair asking price. I would prefer local pick up, but I will ship at buyer's expense.

Thanks for looking,
Kent

Not many, mostly dyno pulls I think. This used to be Tiago's old setup. I'll find out for you.

Shipping would be a little over $60 and thats not including insurance.

Yes, the pistons are forged aluminum, the rods are forged steel. The only thing missing would be pistons rings and locks.

Thats gonna depend on a few things.

With stock LS1 heads, and a .040" headgasket, the CR is gonna be right around 9.5:1. Of course with larger chambers (like 6.0L heads) the Compression Ratio will drop, and with smaller chambers (like 5.3L heads) the CR will increase.

I'll be honest, naturally aspirated this isn't what you want unless you have small enough combustion chambers to recover the loss of compression. This is for a supercharged or turbocharged engine thats gonna see a good amount of boost and still be able to run on pump gas.

If you plan on running nitrous or staying all motor, you should probably go with whatever 6.0L setup you have in mind, but if you plan on adding boost then this is a good deal.
